LIVING WATERS KINGDOM MINISTRIES HISTORY Living Waters Kingdom Ministries was birth in May 1998, by Apostle Raymond ‘Rhema’ Wells who is called and commissioned by God to give “life through the Word of God”. After hearing the call to establish a work unto the Lord, the then Deacon Ray Wells who having worked faithfully under the leadership of Bishop Dean Wells, his father at the Pentecostal Church of Faith in God on Bell Road, Montell Heights stepped out in faith to build the lives of God’s people. The initial group of 21 exuberant young people gathered for a time of prayer and fasting at the home of Apostle Wells in Garden Hills, to seek further guidance and direction. On May 17th Living Waters Kingdom Ministries held its first and second services at the Crystal Palace Hotel Luther and Cat Island meeting rooms. |
On May 31st 1998, the ministry relocated to the Sunshine Shopping Plaza on Blue Hill Road. Within a year and a half, the membership grew to ninety-four persons not including children. Today our membership exceeds 1500. When Apostle Wells received the directive to move from our former location, many areas were of interest. The one that would capture our attention was Warren Street. The property was purchased in November 2003, and dedicated to the Lord in December 2003. It was January 2004, when the family of Living Waters Kingdom Ministries pooled their resources and began construction of a multi-million dollar building. Through times of dismay and joy, the roof was completed. In May of 2005, additional financing was sought from a local financial institution to complete the work. |
